I used to go to Ararat Veterinary Clinic - are you the same people?
Yes. Western Victoria Vets is the new name and new home of Ararat Veterinary Clinic. Same team, same care - just a fresh name and a brand new facility.
How do I pay for my visit?
Payment is due at the time of your visit. We accept EFTPOS, major cards and cash. See our Payment Options page for more, including estimates and pet insurance.
What areas do you service?
We look after Ararat, Beaufort and the surrounding district, including Stawell, Great Western, Lake Bolac, Willaura, Moyston and beyond. If you are not sure whether we come to you, just ask.
Do you visit farms?
Yes. We regularly visit properties across the district for cattle, sheep and horse work. Give us a call to arrange an on-farm visit.
Do you offer an after-hours emergency service?
Not at the moment. To make sure our team can keep giving you the best care during opening hours, we no longer run our own after-hours service. Our Out of Hours page lists who to call instead for companion animal, equine, wildlife and stray animal emergencies.
What are your opening hours?
Our Ararat clinic is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm, closed Sunday. [Confirm Beaufort hours.] For urgent help outside these times, see our Out of Hours page.
Do you take online bookings?
Not at this stage - the best way to book is to give us a call. Our friendly team will find a time that suits you and your animal.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just drop in?
For consultations we ask that you book an appointment so we can give your animal our full attention - just give us a call. If it is an emergency, phone ahead and come straight in.
