Western Victoria Vets is a family-owned mixed practice based in Ararat, with a second clinic in Beaufort. We care for every kind of animal in our region - from much-loved pets to the cattle, sheep and horses that are part of local life and livelihoods. For us, good veterinary care is personal. We get to know your animals, your family and your farm, and we are here for the long haul.
Our Story
You may know us as Ararat Veterinary Clinic. For years we have been one of Ararat's two vet clinics, looking after the district's pets and production animals. As the practice has grown, so has the need for a bigger, better-equipped home - and a name that reflects the whole region we serve.

As a mixed practice we bring genuine breadth - the same team that looks after your pets understands stock and horses too. And because roaming and visiting specialists work alongside us, we can offer advanced care without you having to travel far from home.
